Key Responsibilities

  • •Evaluate, select, and order manufacturing equipment that is cost-effective and appropriate for company products.
  • •Oversee installation, modification, upgrades, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
  • •Keep current on equipment manufacturers’ technical notices, upgrades, and safety issues.
  • •Study equipment performance and reliability to increase uptime and resolve equipment problems affecting manufacturing.
  • •Provide technical support to equipment repair and process engineering organizations and define preventative maintenance schedules.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Physics, or related engineering.
  • •3+ years of relevant experience working in a semiconductor manufacturing environment as an Equipment Engineer.
  • •Preferred equipment experience with PVD, CVD, and/or high/ultra-high vacuum tools.
  • •Experience on semiconductor equipment from vendors such as AMAT, LAM, Veeco, TEL, Novellus, and/or ASM.
  • •Working knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing and SPC techniques, including cleanroom protocol behaviors.
