Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical and professional leadership for civil engineering work and support technical quality and regulatory compliance.
  • •Develop civil plans, specifications, cost estimates, design reports, and construction packages for grading, drainage, utilities, pavements, stormwater systems, and access improvements.
  • •Perform and/or support engineering reviews of permit applications, design documents, contracts, management plans, and construction inspections to ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
  • •Lead or support delivery of civil projects by coordinating schedules, tracking budgets, overseeing team work, and contributing to business development.
  • •Participate in client meetings and technical discussions and support contract negotiations; mentor and guide staff development.

Key Requirements

  • •5-10+ years of relevant post-education experience in civil and infrastructure design.
  • •Professional Engineer (PE) license required (multi-state licensure preferred or willingness to obtain).
  • •Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, design standards, and how they apply to permitting and infrastructure projects.
  • •Advanced proficiency with civil engineering/design tools such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, and ArcGIS, plus spreadsheets and predictive models.
