Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with design and manufacturing engineers to accelerate product development through bottom-up cost models, schedule feasibility alignment, and impact assessments for build changes.
  • •Own and maintain line of balance for assigned programs, synchronizing material availability to the master build schedule and translating build requirements into actionable supply plans.
  • •Drive clear-to-build reviews ahead of each build phase, confirming material, long-lead items, and supplier deliverables are on hand or on track.
  • •Collaborate with procurement to expedite, re-sequence, or source alternatives when supply risks emerge, escalating early with data-backed recommendations.
  • •Maintain MRP/ERP system accuracy (planned orders, lead times, safety stock, demand signals) and support NPI builds by developing initial supply plans from early-stage BOMs and engineering change orders.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years in supply planning, production planning, or materials management in complex hardware manufacturing, preferably defense or aerospace.
  • •Experience managing line of balance and clear-to-build processes across multi-level BOMs with long-lead and constrained materials.
  • •Track record of maintaining build schedule adherence in rate production or NPI environments, including understanding electronics and/or mechanical devices design & development.
  • •Advanced supply planning experience across production planning, materials management, or master scheduling, ideally in high-mix, low-volume environments.
  • •Familiarity with Oracle (or similar ERP); bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with CPIM/CSCP/CPSM or advanced degree strongly preferred.
