Key Responsibilities

  • •Test, analyze, repair, maintain, and install electrical, electro-mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to support facility operations.
  • •Perform preventive maintenance on company equipment and maintain accurate, legible work order/PM paperwork.
  • •Troubleshoot and repair material handling equipment (e.g., conveyors, Crisplant) and operate/test/repair associated equipment performance.
  • •Install and repair control components such as solenoid air operated control valves, relayed controlled switchgear, solenoid controlled hydraulic valves, clutches, brakes, and related components.
  • •Use construction and welding/machine shop skills as needed for facility repair and equipment maintenance, including maintaining lighting fixtures and operating/maintaining facility vehicles and equipment.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience; associates degree in mechanical or electrical technology or five years related experience is preferred.
  • •Strong technical capability to interpret and follow verbal and written instructions, including the ability to read and work from drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
  • •Proficiency in wiring, motor hookups, conveyor assembly, and mechanical repairs (chain/sprocket, belts, sheaves), plus installation/repair of solenoid air operated control valves and related components.
  • •Ability to use tools and test equipment for maintenance and troubleshooting, including PC-based control/monitoring and programmable controller-based systems.
  • •Meet physical and safety requirements including lifting/moving ~60 lbs, mobility for 80–100% of the workday, working in varying temperatures, and following ergonomic and safety rules.
