Job Summary

Build strong relationships with key retail accounts and work toward becoming category captain across Tyson Fresh Meats categories. Analyze sales and category performance to support distribution, merchandising, assortment, pricing, rankings, and forecasts. Provide strategic guidance to retailers on space management to maximize sales for both partners. Collaborate with product managers, marketing, and national account leadership to drive business and financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

•Establish and maintain relationships with one or more key accounts to become category captain for Tyson Fresh Meats categories.
•Develop, interpret, and analyze sales and category information (distribution, merchandising, assortment, shelving, pricing, rankings, and forecasts).
•Provide independent guidance to retailers on strategic space management to meet consumer needs and maximize sales.
•Develop in-depth knowledge of industry competition and customers to support business objectives.
•Work with FSC product managers, marketing, value added meats, and VP national account sales.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Preferred education: Business or Marketing degree.
•5+ years of retail sales or marketing experience.
•Proficient systems knowledge, including AC Nielsen, Dunnhumby, Perishables Group, Data Mintel, and Turn Key reports.
•Ability to provide and interpret sales and category analysis to support sales and marketing objectives.
•Willingness to travel 6-12 trips annually.
