Job Summary

Lead complex corporate tax credit transaction review and risk assessment on the Corporate Tax Team, including investment tax credits (e.g., LIHTC, NMTC) and other federal income tax planning and advisory matters. Partner with business, legal, finance/accounting, risk, and external tax advisors to ensure positions are properly analyzed, documented, communicated, and implemented, while supporting M&A, restructuring, and tax-efficient deal structuring.

•Review, analyze, and advise on complex tax credit transactions, identifying material federal income tax issues and recommending approaches to mitigate tax risk.
•Analyze tax credit investments, transferability arrangements, partnership structures, and supporting materials to ensure tax issues are addressed appropriately.
•Research and resolve highly complex federal income tax issues and prepare/review technical tax analyses and position documentation for stakeholders.
•Review transaction documents to identify tax issues and risk areas, coordinating with internal teams and external advisors to recommend revisions or best practices.
•Provide tax technical support for restructuring, M&A, investment, financing, and other strategic transactions; model tax impacts and manage inherent tax risks.
