Conduct postdoctoral research into mitochondrial genetics and function, studying mitochondrial DNA inheritance during development using Drosophila and human cells. You will apply genetic and biochemical approaches, analyze and interpret data, and develop new models, techniques, and methods. The role includes dissemination through publications and seminars and supervising students/PhD trainees, supported by work within specified research grants and projects.
