Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead development and execution of strategy for cross-border policy, governance, and political alignment for emerging health technologies.
  • •Translate scientific, regulatory, and governance dynamics into clear policy, advocacy, and political strategies for country alignment.
  • •Engage African Union institutions and Regional Economic Communities to advance regional policy coherence and cross-border governance mechanisms.

  • •Proven track record engaging governments, regional institutions, and high-level stakeholders in politically sensitive multi-country environments.
  • •Deep expertise in multi-lateral and transboundary governance, including regional policy coordination/harmonization and biosafety/regulatory policy for emerging technologies.
