Job Summary

Build and deliver a hands-on self-service data enrichment platform within the Data Platform group, enabling batch and streaming analytics, machine learning, and threat hunting at hyper scale. Own core systems for query processing, ingestion pipelines, materialized views, transformations, and data storage—supporting unified data cataloging and optimized query performance across structured datasets. Collaborate on technical reviews to enhance stability and improve service efficiency for customers.

Key Responsibilities

•Shape the next phase of the Analytics Data Platform by building a unified data catalog and query analysis, and optimizing query performance via indexing and data partitioning.
•Design, develop, and maintain a data platform processing petabytes of data.
•Participate in technical reviews, help develop new features, and enhance product stability.
•Improve service efficiency to delight customers.
•Research, evolve, and implement new approaches for internal and customer querying to efficiently return results in desired formats.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 195,000 - 290,000 annually

Key Requirements

•(One among:) 17+ years with a B.S., 15+ years with an M.S., or 12+ years with a PhD in a related field.
•Experience building and supporting very high-scale data platform and data storage systems (100s of TB/day).
•Significant performance-tuning or developing internals in Spark, Flink, Iceberg or Pinot, or an equivalent real-time system.
•Production experience building Spark- or Flink-based self-service data platforms (or equivalent frameworks).
•Strong familiarity with Apache Hadoop ecosystem technologies (e.g., Spark, Kafka, Hive/Iceberg/Delta Lake, Presto/Trino, Pinot, Druid) plus coding in Java/Scala/Kotlin and relational SQL/NoSQL databases.
