Key Responsibilities

  • •Analyze inventory shrink results and collaborate with Retail Operations and store leadership to develop strategies addressing external theft, internal theft, fraud, and operational errors.
  • •Develop and execute a comprehensive Asset Protection program, including risk and site-vulnerability assessments and measurable action plans for high-shrink/high-risk sanctuaries.
  • •Investigate internal and external theft, fraud, cash loss, merchandise loss, and integrity concerns using POS exception reporting, transaction data, inventory information, CCTV, case-management systems, and interviews.
  • •Manage physical-security standards and systems (cameras, intrusion alarms, access controls, keys, safe codes, locking mechanisms), including training and coordination for new sanctuary openings; oversee third-party security providers.
  • •Respond to incidents and crises (theft, threats, cash shortages, violence, robbery/burglary, vandalism), coordinate corrective/preventive actions, and deliver training and coaching for asset protection awareness and incident reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or a comparable combination of education and professional experience in retail Asset Protection, loss prevention, investigations, law enforcement, private security, risk management, or a related discipline.
  • •At least five years of multi-unit, field-based Asset Protection or loss-prevention experience.
  • •At least two years of supervisory or leadership experience supporting multiple locations.
  • •Demonstrated experience conducting internal and external theft, fraud, and integrity investigations.
  • •Strong analytical ability and proficiency using AI-enabled technology; must be able to critically assess AI-generated information and apply sound professional judgment.
