Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Traffic Management Centre to ensure seamless 24/7 functionality.
  • •Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize traffic flow and minimize congestion.
  • •Lead coordination of responses to major traffic incidents, planned events, and emergencies.
  • •Manage and mentor a team of TMC supervisors, operators, and support staff, including training, performance evaluations, and staffing issues.
  • •Ensure effective operation and maintenance of traffic management systems (ATMS, CCTV, VMS) and use traffic data to recommend improvements and report on KPIs.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline plus 6 years of experience in traffic operations, transportation planning, or a related field, or Relevant Diploma plus 8 years of relevant experience.
  • •Ideally 7+ years in traffic operations or transportation planning.
  • •Proven experience managing teams in a high-pressure, operational environment.
  • •Demonstrated success leading incident management and traffic operations.
  • •In-depth understanding of traffic management systems, tools, and technologies.
