Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and administer facility EHS programs aligned with regulatory requirements and corporate standards, procedures, and objectives.
  • •Lead or facilitate the site EHS safety committee and serve as a member of the plant Leadership Team.
  • •Lead development, implementation, and continual enhancement of the Amcor EHS Management System at the facility.
  • •Conduct and/or coordinate EHS inspections and assessments, manage recommendations and follow-up, and support compliance with key performance measures.
  • •Manage incident investigations and corrective actions through closure; plan and coordinate EHS training for employees, temporary workers, contractors, and visitors.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelors degree in EHS, engineering, or related field (highly preferred).
  • •Minimum 5 years relevant manufacturing experience.
  • •5+ years experience or involvement in EHS.
  • •Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), or Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) (a plus).
  • •Strong knowledge of Microsoft software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; able to comprehend other software programs beyond Microsoft.
