Senior Software Engineer to contribute to the FinCore FX platform in fintech, focusing on multi-currency accounting, currency exchange, and platform-level improvement. Key Responsibilities

•Contribute to the development of the next iteration of the FX platform’s services, collaborating with the development and delivery of new products and automating existing ones.
•Collaborate with team members and engineering leaders to design new services and components using RFC processes.
•Coach and mentor less experienced team members to improve team effectiveness and efficiency.
•Lead product initiatives from discovery to delivery, coordinating with product and operational teams to align on goals.
•Own the products you build, including ongoing development and maintenance, ensuring quality and reliability.

Key Requirements

•Extensive experience in developing complex software systems, with primary work in Python (or strong OOP language equivalent).
•Experience in FinTech, banking, or related regulated financial environments.
•Strong written and spoken English communication for cross-country collaboration.
•Proficiency in building and consuming APIs, as well as implementing monitoring and alerting for services, plus integration with external systems.
•Ability to work with legacy code, propose improvements, ensure testability with unit and integration tests, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins) and infrastructure (Terraform).
