Key Responsibilities

•Lead and develop a team of Account Managers, maintaining engagement, visibility, connection, and performance across locations.
•Onboard new clients and brokers and coordinate field presence to strengthen communication with clients and distribution partners.
•Exercise delegated underwriting authority to underwrite and price policies at renewal, making independent decisions within authority levels.
•Deliver portfolio retention and profitability targets while overseeing technical quality and pricing adequacy of the portfolio.
•Leverage AI tools and data analytics to enhance underwriting decisions, risk assessment, and account management processes, driving continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

•Extensive experience in trade credit insurance and commercial underwriting, including delegated authority for underwriting and pricing at renewal.
•Ability to exercise independent judgement on risk selection, pricing, and portfolio management within an authority framework.
•Demonstrated track record developing commercial relationships with clients and distribution partners while achieving retention and profitability targets.
•Knowledge of and compliance with underwriting guidelines, authority limits, and internal or regulatory requirements.
•Proven experience leading geographically dispersed teams and partnering effectively with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., Risk, Claims, Operations, Finance).
