We are hiring a Shop Trailer Mechanic II who will perform scheduled PMs, DOT inspections, routine maintenance, and repairs on light, medium, and heavy-duty trailers in a hybrid shop environment. You’ll work with service teams, document findings, and strive for high productivity, with a $3,000 new hire bonus and opportunities for on-site and remote collaboration.

Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

•Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM), DOT inspections and follow-up repairs on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in a shop environment.
•Independently determine parts required for each job and interact with the Shop Parts Department to obtain them.
•Maintain a clean and safe work environment and assist in daily tool/parts/equipment cleanup.
•Document repairs, parts used and findings on Repair Orders using company device and Karmak application; upload photos when required.
•Maintain productivity within or close to standard repair times and communicate with Shop Manager to obtain approvals on repair estimates and purchase orders.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 24.23 - 36.35 hourly
