Key Responsibilities

  • •Advise Product, Engineering, Design, and Business on autonomy and AI issues including privacy, data protection, accessibility, and consumer protections.
  • •Lead and support cross-functional compliance, safety, and IP protection projects, integrating legal requirements into product development workflows.
  • •Review product integrations to ensure compliance with contractual obligations, data protection laws, and intellectual property rights.
  • •Translate legal advice into actionable guidance for product and engineering teams under tight deadlines.
  • •Manage patenting and invention harvesting, build legal risk systems/policies/processes, and support customer contracts and external-facing marketing documents.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of law firm and/or in-house experience, preferably in technology companies, advising on privacy, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies.
  • •J.D. degree from an accredited law school and active membership in one state bar.
  • •Experience working across engineering, product, design, security, privacy, and marketing throughout the product development life cycle.
  • •Experience counseling business partners on domestic and international laws, regulations, and best practices for implementing and ensuring ongoing compliance.
  • •Ability to advance large, complex projects while operating effectively in a fast-paced, execution-focused environment with strict deadlines.
