Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead development of analytics products and self-serve tools so teams can access trusted data independently.
  • •Own analytics end to end: defining success metrics, designing schemas, testing, production deployment, freshness SLAs, and incident resolution.
  • •Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines and canonical datasets for analytical workflows across the company.
  • •Create the governed data layer (semantic models, canonical views, metric definitions, data contracts) with versioning and backward compatibility.
  • •Translate business questions into structured analytical problems and build documentation and internal tools so data is usable by people and AI agents; mentor team standards for testing, monitoring, runbooks, and code review.

Key Requirements

  • •4+ years in data or analytics engineering, building and operating production pipelines end to end and owning issues when they break.
  • •Strong SQL and solid Python with hands-on ETL/orchestration experience (Airbyte, Fivetran, Dagster, dbt, Airflow, or similar).
  • •Experience with modern data warehouses (Snowflake, Databricks, or Redshift), including query and performance optimization.
  • •Strong data modeling skills and the ability to understand business meaning behind metrics.
  • •Experience building governed data layers and data quality checks (semantic models, canonical views, metric definitions, data contracts; dbt tests, Great Expectations, Pydeequ, or similar).
