Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform highly complex field surveying and construction layout to ensure accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
  • •Verify engineering computations, inspect construction work, and conduct field testing to maintain quality and compliance.
  • •Coordinate, oversee, and provide guidance to junior inspectors to ensure consistent execution of inspection activities.
  • •Establish and manage project timelines and deadlines; plan, prioritize, and accomplish daily responsibilities under general supervision.
  • •Conduct daily field inspections, maintain inspection records/reports, track QA progress and deficiencies, and support punch list, system testing, commissioning, and closeout documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma plus 4 years of experience (or demonstrated equivalency of experience and or education).
  • •U.S. Citizenship is required due to the nature of the work.
  • •Valid U.S. Driver’s License required to visit project sites and clients; must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review.
  • •4 years of CEI experience in roadway or bridge construction (preferred).
  • •CTQP and FDOT-related inspection certifications/training (preferred, includes listed CTQP levels and FDOT Intermediate MOT).
