Job Summary

Lead research, commissioning, drafting, and editing for the Strategic Intelligence platform and other Forum digital products. Translate complex data and expert insight into clear, engaging content, including high-quality data visualisations and the integration of external datasets into strategic intelligence and foresight work. Curate and write weekly and monthly newsletters focused on audience growth, while managing a portfolio of Transformation Maps and developing new formats to showcase platform content.

Key Responsibilities

•Review, edit, and supplement texts from external experts for the Forum’s Transformation Maps, ensuring accuracy and adherence to editorial standards.
•Conceptualise and produce high-quality, shareable data visualisations.
•Lead the integration of external datasets into Strategic Intelligence outputs.
•Curate and draft weekly and monthly Strategic Intelligence newsletters with a focus on audience growth and engagement.
•Research and develop innovative formats for showcasing Strategic Intelligence content and manage a portfolio of Transformation Maps.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's or Master's degree in journalism, communications, economics, public policy, international affairs, data science, or a related field.
•7+ years of experience in data journalism, editorial content, research, strategic intelligence, or a related field.
•Proven ability to translate complex data and research into clear, engaging content for diverse audiences.
•Strong editorial skills including writing, editing, fact-checking, and content curation with excellent attention to detail.
•Experience creating data visualizations and working with quantitative datasets, plus familiarity with tools such as Tableau, Flourish, Datawrapper, or Power BI.
