Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead design of BMS PCBAs through their full lifecycle - including circuit simulation, schematic capture, layout, routing, reviews, manufacturing, and revisions
  • •Work closely with mechanical and software teams, from the beginning of the design process, to ensure that our BMS hardware seamlessly integrates into the battery pack
  • •Design circuits for diagnostic coverage, redundancy, and fault-tolerance - working closely with systems and safety teams to ensure that our BMS hardware meets safety goals
  • •Own PCBA bring-up and verification, working hands-on with lab equipment to check that the design functions across all operating conditions and fault injection cases
  • •Coordinate builds with PM team, DFM team, supply chain team, and quality team

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 144,000 - 185,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • •3+ years of experience designing and verifying complex electrical circuits.
  • •Experience with high voltage battery systems and BMS electronics.
  • •Experienced in Altium Designer and circuit simulation tools such as LTSpice.
  • •Detailed knowledge of PCB design rules including IPC-610 / 2221 / 2222.
