Job Function: Hardware, Embedded & Systems Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Lead design of BMS PCBAs through their full lifecycle - including circuit simulation, schematic capture, layout, routing, reviews, manufacturing, and revisions
•Work closely with mechanical and software teams, from the beginning of the design process, to ensure that our BMS hardware seamlessly integrates into the battery pack
•Design circuits for diagnostic coverage, redundancy, and fault-tolerance - working closely with systems and safety teams to ensure that our BMS hardware meets safety goals
•Own PCBA bring-up and verification, working hands-on with lab equipment to check that the design functions across all operating conditions and fault injection cases
•Coordinate builds with PM team, DFM team, supply chain team, and quality team

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 144,000 - 185,000 annually

Key Requirements

•BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
•3+ years of experience designing and verifying complex electrical circuits.
•Experience with high voltage battery systems and BMS electronics.
•Experienced in Altium Designer and circuit simulation tools such as LTSpice.
•Detailed knowledge of PCB design rules including IPC-610 / 2221 / 2222.
