Key Responsibilities

  • •Wash floats and hatcher trays and transport hatcher equipment as part of daily duties
  • •Sanitize separator and hatcher using prescribed procedures and cleaning agents
  • •Set eggs into incubators by lifting trays and placing them in stacked buggies for incubation
  • •Transfer eggs between equipment and vaccination tables, ensuring proper handling
  • •Load chicks onto conveyors after trays are prepared

Key Requirements

  • •Must be able to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks such as lifting 10 pound egg trays from floor to shoulder level
  • • willingness to work in wet and humid conditions in a production facility
  • •1-2 weeks on-the-job training
  • •Ability to wear PPE including hearing protection, slip-resistant shoes, steel-toe shoes, and gloves
