Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the strategic sourcing and procurement (Source to Pay) for Tech Materials (MROs) and Tech Services for the Vadodara site and for Corporate Services & Digital Technology across multiple sites/offices in India and the AFMEI region.
  • •Develop, deploy, and manage sourcing strategies for AFMEI and Vadodara in consultation with the Category Manager, supporting other TMTS/CSDT procurement activities as needed.
  • •Own negotiations for assigned categories and countries and formalize regional agreements and contracts when appropriate.
  • •Execute the 7-step strategic sourcing process in compliance with LYB’s Delegation of Authority, challenging current practices to drive value.
  • •Manage supplier relationships and performance via business reviews, KPI/measurement systems, and supplier development/risk mitigation; support sustainability initiatives (EcoVadis/TfS).

Key Requirements

  • •8-10 years of procurement experience in a manufacturing setup (chemicals, petrochemicals, plastics, pharma, foods & beverage, or similar).
  • •Experience as a techno-commercial professional with market knowledge of technical equipment, MROs, and professional services.
  • •Able to demonstrate procurement knowledge across procure-to-pay, strategic sourcing, contract, and supplier management.
  • •Advanced skills in PC tools including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • •Strong negotiation and influencing skills with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
