Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor enterprise network infrastructure using network monitoring systems; respond to network alerts and service tickets and perform daily health checks.
  • •Receive and manage Level 1 incidents via service desk/monitoring tools; perform diagnosis/troubleshooting, restore services within SLA when possible, and escalate to Level 2/Level 3.
  • •Support routine network service requests such as VLAN assignments, port activation/deactivation and switch port configuration, user connectivity requests, DHCP reservation requests, and basic firewall rule requests (subject to approval).
  • •Assist senior engineers with network installation activities including switch/router/firewall deployment, rack & stack, cable patching, equipment labelling, asset verification, and power-on testing.
  • •Perform preventive maintenance and change-management tasks: scheduled maintenance, verify backups and hardware status, replace failed components under supervision, document network artifacts (diagrams, inventories, backups, change records, incident logs), and complete post-change verification/rollback when instructed.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Network Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related discipline.
  • •0–2 years of experience in Network Operations Center (NOC), Service Desk, Managed Services, Enterprise Network Support, or Data Center Operations.
  • •Strong networking knowledge and ability to perform Level 1 diagnosis and basic troubleshooting for LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and Internet connectivity issues.
  • •Familiarity with networking concepts and configuration verification, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VLAN, STP, and routing/switching fundamentals.
  • •Ability to maintain accurate documentation (diagrams, inventories, configuration backups, change records, incident logs) and follow IT security and change management procedures.
