Key Responsibilities

  • •Run the day-to-day Engineering Stores operation to ensure parts and materials are available for factory maintenance.
  • •Manage inventory, stock accuracy, and transaction controls to maintain reliable stock levels and reduce operational risk.
  • •Drive continuous improvement across Engineering Stores processes, systems, and ways of working.
  • •Develop and implement stock management strategies while ensuring compliance with company policies and site procedures.
  • •Lead, coach, and develop the Engineering Stores team, monitor KPIs, and collaborate with Maintenance, Engineering, and Operational teams to support manufacturing demands.

Key Requirements

  • •Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) with experience in a manufacturing, FMCG, engineering, or regulated production environment.
  • •Previous experience leading, coaching, or developing a team to achieve operational and business objectives.
  • •Strong knowledge of stock control, inventory management, purchasing, and stores operations.
  • •Experience working in environments governed by quality, safety, and compliance standards such as GMP or MHRA (or equivalent).
  • •Experience using ERP systems and business reporting tools to monitor performance and support operational decisions.
