Establish API standards, drive scalable engineering practices (DevSecOps, CI/CD, automated testing), manage technology risk posture, and build/lead a world-class technology team.

Key Responsibilities

•Own the Hong Kong Open Banking and IADS technology strategy, roadmap, and execution plan aligned to business priorities and Group architecture direction.
•Lead end-to-end delivery of API and data exchange capabilities, ensuring scalability, performance, and operational readiness.
•Establish and govern API standards (versioning, documentation, lifecycle management, developer experience) and drive adoption across domains and delivery teams.
•Ensure security-by-design, regulatory compliance, auditability, and robust controls across API and data exchange services.
•Build and develop the technology team and lead delivery governance across multiple workstreams and partner/vendor relationships where relevant.

Key Requirements

•Advanced degree with experience and proven track record to influence/manage functionally and work independently.
•Proven track record delivering API platforms and data exchange capabilities, including lifecycle governance.
•Experience modernising legacy platforms and simplifying complex technology states.
•Prior experience as CIO managing multiple businesses.
•Strong and developed leadership skills with excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
