Job Summary

Lead systems engineering for complex image-guided therapy platforms, delivering individually and mentoring a team of systems engineers. Drive continuous improvements across legacy and platform systems to support global product performance, applying AI and Six Sigma to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and expand margins. Own DFMEA, safety and risk assessments, compatibility reporting with third-party devices, and design verification/validation plans while ensuring documentation, standards, and go/no-go decisions.

Key Responsibilities

•Mentor a team of systems engineers and deliver as an individual contributor for image guided therapy system projects.
•Create and lead high-impact projects with strong business cases in complex IGT systems, driving continuous improvements across legacy and platform systems.
•Perform DFMEA, risk management, and product safety risk and safety assessment in a cross-functional environment.
•Develop system-level compatibility reports between Philips platforms and third-party medical devices used by hospitals and patients.
•Ensure design alignment with architecture and requirements, release design verification/validation plan and reports, and report technical maturity/risk/mitigation for go/no-go decisions.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 10 to 15 years of experience in system engineering, system design, hardware engineering, or equivalent.
•Hands-on systems engineering experience in complex mechatronic, imaging, or MedTech systems.
•Bachelors in engineering in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Bio-medical engineering; flair for systems engineering in MedTech devices.
•Hands-on experience with tools such as TrackWise, Clear-Quest, Windchill, or DOORS (or equivalents).
•Quality mindset in design and documentation with strong global, cross-functional experience in matrix organizations.
