PhD Cifre Thesis - Robust Aerodynamic Shape Optimisation In Early Design Phase Phase (M/F)

Pioneer robust aerodynamic shape optimization methods for aircraft in the early design phase, using high-fidelity CFD and uncertainty quantification to reduce sensitivity to real-world variability. Build and evaluate stochastic optimization strategies leveraging surrogate models such as PCE and Gaussian Processes, including advanced approaches like gPCE and Active Subspace. Produce publishable scientific results alongside Airbus and CERFACS, supported by a dedicated Flight Physics Capability team in Toulouse.
