Own the platform engineering systems that make AI-powered backend changes safe to ship, easy to validate, and straightforward to debug in production. Build CI/CD quality gates, reusable AI validation infrastructure (scenario-based evals and higher-signal checks), and connect eval results with runtime telemetry to create a unified feedback loop. Partner across backend, AI, PM, and adjacent platform teams to standardize developer-facing workflows that reduce friction for feature squads.

Key Responsibilities

•Build CI/CD quality gates for backend and AI workflows so engineers get faster, trustworthy signals before changes reach production.
•Create reusable validation infrastructure for AI-powered backend features, including scenario-based evals, staging validation flows, generated test profiles, and higher-signal E2E checks.
•Connect eval results, CI outcomes, runtime telemetry, and member-facing signals to improve the development-to-production feedback loop.
•Standardize the shared LLM delivery surface with unified client patterns, trace capture, environment setup, and operational guardrails feature squads can adopt.
•Partner with backend engineers, AI engineers, PMs, and adjacent platform teams to turn release-confidence needs into scalable reusable workflows.

Key Requirements

•Strong hands-on experience building and operating production backend platforms, developer infrastructure, CI/CD systems, or internal tooling used by real product teams.
•Deep backend software engineering in a language such as Python, with practical experience in cloud infrastructure, production debugging, and maintainable system design.
•Experience designing validation or quality systems teams trust, including CI gates, eval flows, test infrastructure, telemetry pipelines, or release automation.
•A track record improving delivery confidence for other engineers, not just operating infrastructure manually.
•Ability to support modern AI/LLM-backed systems in production using evals, tracing, rollout safety, review signals, or operational feedback loops.
