Key Responsibilities

  • •Troubleshoot, determine root cause, and repair production equipment related to control systems in conjunction with Maintenance.
  • •Support continuous improvement through factory cost-out, Rapid Improvement Events, and lean Six Sigma tools.
  • •Support engineering change orders and design reviews, including updating processes as needed.
  • •Design, develop, and implement SCADA systems for MES, maintain control-system documentation, and perform commissioning, upgrades, and preventive maintenance.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Technology, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • •3 years of PLC programming/troubleshooting and HMI configuration experience and system development.
  • •Provide production support by troubleshooting, determining root cause, and repairing control-system-related equipment with Maintenance.
  • •Ensure Eaton safety policies/standards are practiced in production through proper control systems.
  • •Experience with PLC/HMI design and development, including SCADA system design/implementation and electrical schematics/diagrams (also covered under position criteria).
