Job Summary

Design and own complex cloud-native software solutions on Google Cloud, blending software architecture with a stable platform. Key Responsibilities

•Concept, develop, and take ownership of complex cloud-native software solutions, recognizing opportunities for AI/GenAI and integrating software architecture with a stable platform.
•Consult customers on adopting cloud technologies—especially Google Cloud—under customer-specific requirements.
•Architect, design, and implement customer applications, focusing on reliability, security, performance, and cost using modern frameworks and services.
•Use and integrate targeted cloud services (e.g., GKE, Cloud Run, Dataflow) cleanly into the overall architecture.
•Provide technical leadership to international cloud engineering and developer teams in customer projects, support pre-sales and sales activities, and run feasibility/innovation studies while advancing the service portfolio.

Key Requirements

•Several years of experience developing modern software (e.g., Java, Spring Boot, Quarkus).
•Design and build microservices architectures in the cloud.
•Hands-on experience with Google Cloud ecosystems in real projects.
•Practical experience operating container platforms and serverless technologies (e.g., GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Run Functions, Dataflow, Workflows).
•Cloud certification is desirable (e.g., Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect), plus experience leading, mentoring, and coaching teams.
•Strong CI/CD, observability, and security knowledge (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins, Prometheus, Grafana, Trivy) and excellent German and English communication.
•Relevant degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification.
