Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide chemical advice to callers for incidents such as chemical reactions, fires, spillages, and exposures.
  • •Ensure continuous 24/7 uptime of WSP’s Emergency Response services during your shift.
  • •Communicate directly with customers in the chemical sector via telephone and written reports.
  • •Contribute to project work supporting development of Emergency Response services and other technical consultancy areas.
  • •Progress towards a deep understanding of level 1 chemical emergency response and expand knowledge in chemical and product safety.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Chemistry and A-Level Chemistry qualification.
  • •Strong logical and lateral thinking skills to solve complex problems.
  • •Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey scientific concepts accurately.
  • •Ability to work rotating shifts to maintain 24/7 availability.
  • •A current UK driving license.
