Key Responsibilities

•Plan and deliver geotechnical investigations, including site reconnaissance, fieldwork, sampling, logging and in-situ testing
•Interpret geotechnical data and contribute to design recommendations and risk assessments
•Prepare technical reports and supporting design documentation for small to medium projects
•Work closely with senior engineers and project managers on investigation scoping, methodologies and project delivery
•Supporting proposals and tenders, including technical inputs and cost estimates

Key Requirements

•Degree in Civil, Geotechnical or Geological Engineering (or equivalent)
•Around 2+ years’ experience in geotechnical engineering or a related discipline
•Strong field experience, including soil logging, sampling and site investigations
•Exposure to investigation techniques such as CPTs, boreholes, test pits and in-situ testing
•Eligibility for (or progress toward) Engineers Australia membership
