Key Responsibilities

•Become fully familiar with the Contract Scope of Work, specifications, schedule and inter-discipline requirements, identify concerns early, and address issues
•Interface with all disciplines to develop clash-free designs within the 3D Model and ensure deliverables meet project specifications
•Liaise with other discipline support groups to ensure clearly defined interfaces, deliverables and schedules are met
•Prepare and review discipline deliverables including 3D model, detailed design drawings, and as-built drawings; ensure timely completion and archiving
•Lead the design team when acting as Lead/Area Lead Designer, coordinate activities across disciplines, and manage change, progress, and productivity

Key Requirements

•High School graduate with a diploma in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Design, or Drafting in a related discipline or equivalent experience
•6 years minimum with a major contractor or consultant, of which 4+ years in oil and gas
•Detailed knowledge of industry detailing standards and 3D/2D drafting systems (AutoCAD and/or MicroStation)
•Working experience in E3D and/or S3D
•Knowledge of DIALUX lighting program or similar
