Key Responsibilities

  • •Become fully familiar with the Contract Scope of Work, specifications, schedule and inter-discipline requirements, identify concerns early, and address issues
  • •Interface with all disciplines to develop clash-free designs within the 3D Model and ensure deliverables meet project specifications
  • •Liaise with other discipline support groups to ensure clearly defined interfaces, deliverables and schedules are met
  • •Prepare and review discipline deliverables including 3D model, detailed design drawings, and as-built drawings; ensure timely completion and archiving
  • •Lead the design team when acting as Lead/Area Lead Designer, coordinate activities across disciplines, and manage change, progress, and productivity

Key Requirements

  • •High School graduate with a diploma in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Design, or Drafting in a related discipline or equivalent experience
  • •6 years minimum with a major contractor or consultant, of which 4+ years in oil and gas
  • •Detailed knowledge of industry detailing standards and 3D/2D drafting systems (AutoCAD and/or MicroStation)
  • •Working experience in E3D and/or S3D
  • •Knowledge of DIALUX lighting program or similar
