Key Responsibilities

  • •Contribute to building Modal’s analytics stack to support AI-driven self-serve analysis, metrics tracking, and customer reporting.
  • •Influence product work through analytics tracking for new products like LLM Inference Endpoints.
  • •Identify cost savings and optimization opportunities across tools and financial operations.
  • •Write data pipelines that power business operations such as cloud compute economics and sales compensation.
  • •Create foundational datasets for answering questions about product use cases, financial reporting, and marketing campaigns.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 150,000 - 250,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Fluency in SQL and proficiency in Python.
  • •Professional experience with at least 2 of: Snowflake, dbt, dlt, Modal, Hex, Posthog.
  • •Ability to extend work beyond data reporting into action and impact.
