Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) and DOT inspections, including follow-up repairs on light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles and equipment.
  • •Diagnose, adjust, and repair complex mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems using test instruments, road tests, and diagnostic judgment.
  • •Mentor and teach other technicians and support Mobile Technician Manager duties in their absence; assist with quality control inspections.
  • •Independently manage parts inventory and equipment on a company-issued service truck, including reconciliation and vendor parts sourcing as needed.
  • •Maintain service-vehicle safety readiness, complete DOT forms and Repair Orders documentation, and document/upload findings using company tools and the TRAIT application.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma/GED and 7 years of experience in a related field (or equivalent combination).
  • •Obtain and maintain required ASE certifications (ASE T8 (PMI) and ASE C1 (Service Consultant)) within 18 months.
  • •Obtain ASE 608/609 certification within 18 months.
  • •Pass DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening and DOT physical (or submit a current DOT medical card with sufficient validity).
  • •Have a valid driver’s license and be able to obtain/maintain a Driver Qualification File.
