Job Summary

Design and build RF capabilities for Starlink, partnering with RF, DSP, software, hardware teams, and end users to deliver low Earth orbit communications and remote sensing. Own program-level RF system decisions, develop novel RF solutions, and create electromagnetic simulation models. Build and automate RF test benches and scalable RF test infrastructure using Python and C++, validating custom RF designs for design validation, qualification, and production.

Key Responsibilities

•Drive program-level decisions on RF system designs.
•Research novel solutions for unique large-scale satellite RF systems.
•Design, build, validate, and automate RF test benches for characterization of custom RF designs using lab equipment such as VNA/VSG/VSA and spectrum analyzers.
•Design and build modular, scalable RF test infrastructure and test automation sequences in Python and C++ to support validation, qualification, and production.
•Collaborate with hardware, FPGA, DSP, and software engineers to design and validate RF systems, including creating electromagnetic simulation models.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or another engineering discipline.
•5+ years of professional development experience in C/C++ or Python.
•Experience with radio test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, vector signal analyzers, vector signal generators, and network analyzers.
•Experience with antennas or communication systems.
•Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
