Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise, coordinate, and deploy labor, equipment, and resources for gas transmission, compression, storage, and production activities in an assigned geographic area.
  • •Coordinate with operating and support departments to ensure safe, reliable service and performance and maintain compliance with gas safety and environmental rules.
  • •Develop, schedule, monitor, and control work using the Management Operating System to build a trained, productive workforce.
  • •Supervise operating activities and coordinate with other gas handling operating areas to meet system goals.
  • •Manage operational and construction budgets (noted as $2M O&M and $2M Construction) including preparation, monitoring, review, and forecasting.

Key Requirements

  • •Ensure compliance with applicable Code of Federal Regulations, including OSHA and DOT, as well as MIOSHA and State Gas Safety Standards.
  • •Administer and apply Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs) and related company policies and practices.
  • •Maintain and apply specifications for the design, installation, and operation of gas production, transmission, and storage facilities and equipment.
  • •Have experience in natural gas production, transmission, compression, or storage (or related construction), supported by one of the listed education pathways (high school/GED with 5+ years; associate/certificate with 3+ years; or bachelor’s with 1+ year).
  • •Communicate effectively verbally and in writing with individuals at all levels and demonstrate leadership in a unionized environment.
