Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee the technical team and manage, improve, and optimise technical operations within the facility.
  • •Oversee and manage maintenance of building, plant, and equipment to uphold assets to their original state.
  • •Manage and support technical projects within the hospital.
  • •Manage and mitigate technical operations risk; oversee on-site contractors/suppliers.
  • •Lead quality management and continuous improvement within Technical Operations and manage stakeholder relations/client service in the technical environment.

Key Requirements

  • •Oversee maintenance and the management of building, plant, and equipment across the facility.
  • •Manage HVAC and auxiliary electrical power systems with at least 4 years post-graduate engineering experience.
  • •Hold an NQF level 6 Engineering qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (heavy current), including Thermodynamics and Electro Technology passed at 2nd-year level.
  • •Have a valid driver’s license and own reliable transport.
  • •Demonstrate people management, project management, preventative maintenance, fault finding/troubleshooting, and report writing with good financial/budgeting knowledge.
