Key Responsibilities

  • •Support project managers in executing natural resources and environmental permitting projects, ensuring deliverables are on schedule and within budget.
  • •Conduct field investigations and natural resource studies including biological assessments, habitat evaluations, wetland delineations, and vegetation surveys.
  • •Evaluate potential environmental impacts to wetlands, streams, wildlife habitat, threatened and endangered species, and other sensitive natural resources.
  • •Prepare technical reports, environmental analyses, permit applications, agency coordination materials, and regulatory compliance documentation.
  • •Assist with federal, state, and local environmental permitting efforts, coordinating with regulatory agencies, stakeholders, landowners, and clients.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Natural Resources Management, Biology, Ecology, Environmental Planning, Wildlife Biology, or a related field.
  • •3–5 years of experience supporting natural resources, ecological consulting, environmental permitting, or related environmental projects.
  • •Experience conducting environmental field surveys and natural resource assessments, including habitat evaluations and ecological resources.
  • •Familiarity with wetland regulations, threatened and endangered species considerations, habitat assessments, and natural resource permitting requirements.
  • •Experience preparing technical reports, environmental assessments, permit applications, and resource agency correspondence, with working knowledge of GIS.
