Key Responsibilities

  • •Create, assign, and monitor work orders; track service intervals and order parts; diagnose issues using data from multiple equipment makes/models.
  • •Perform safe repairs and practice safe job practices for repairing equipment.
  • •Use laptops/tablets to support maintenance work and documentation.
  • •When required, travel to customer job sites to perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and/or oil-free air compressors.
  • •Troubleshoot equipment failures in the shop and on customer locations; maintain complete daily electronic/paperwork documentation and assist with pick-up/delivery and technician training as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Must own tools applicable to the position.
  • •Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.
  • •Experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, including inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
  • •Ability to calculate nominal/effective tonnage and/or kW requirements and read schematics.
  • •EPA 608 certification is preferred; must be able to obtain it within 6-12 months if not already certified.
