Key Responsibilities

  • •Attend roadside assistance calls, assess situations, diagnose faults with modern diagnostic tools, and repair at scene where safe and possible.
  • •Make practical, safety-led decisions on repair versus recovery, arranging professional recovery and dealer workshop attention when needed.
  • •Own each job end-to-end by communicating clearly with customers, setting expectations, and providing reassurance.
  • •Operate and maintain a fully equipped van, manage tools and parts, follow safety procedures, and keep accurate notes in systems.
  • •Meet service, safety, and quality standards while working efficiently toward targets, using AI-, machine learning-, and analytics-enabled tools responsibly.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven experience as a vehicle or roadside technician able to work independently at the scene and act as the on-site decision-maker.
  • •Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills using modern equipment to identify issues quickly and choose the safest, fastest route.
  • •Confident, calm customer communication, managing expectations and safety while you are the face of Allianz Partners at the roadside.
  • •Comfortable using IT, mobile apps, and diagnostic software, including accurate digital data capture.
  • •Full UK driving licence and confidence driving a fully equipped van, with the flexibility to work rotating shifts including some weekends and Bank Holidays.
