Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide specialized technical support, maintenance, and repairs for Epiroc drilling equipment, automation technologies, and Remote-Control Systems to maximize availability and performance.
  • •Carry out scheduled services, inspections, breakdown repairs, and advanced fault-finding including root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • •Build and maintain customer relationships by delivering professional technical support and advising on equipment performance and maintenance practices.
  • •Coach and support Epiroc and customer personnel in operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of drilling and automation systems.
  • •Collaborate with engineering teams by contributing technical feedback and participating in testing and product improvement activities.
Travel: Extensive travel

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 4 years’ experience in the mining industry, including drilling equipment maintenance, fault-finding, and field service support.
  • •Relevant trade qualification (Electrical, Mechanical, or Millwright).
  • •Advanced technical knowledge of Surface Rotary Blasthole Drills (including SmartROC, FlexiROC DM series, and Pit Viper drill rigs).
  • •Experience troubleshooting Remote Control Systems (RCS), automation technologies, and high-precision GPS systems.
  • •Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic diagnostic skills, plus excellent customer service and communication.
