Serve as the primary service and maintenance contact for Trane Technologies customers in a defined market. Commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up commercial HVAC systems while coordinating with team leaders/project managers and customers. Use HVAC theory, pipe fitting knowledge, and blueprints/specifications alongside cutting-edge software and tools to diagnose and fix equipment. Maintain safety, customer satisfaction, and asset accountability, with flexibility for overtime, weekends, and occasional overnight stays.

Key Responsibilities

•Coordinate with team leader/project manager and customer to understand on-site installation and repair requirements by forecasting issues, gathering materials, and synchronizing work.
•Serve as direct customer contact for assigned projects, ensuring customer satisfaction through diagnosis, repair, and startup of equipment/systems at customer locations.
•Diagnose and repair HVAC units using cutting-edge software/technology and a variety of hand tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications.
•Maintain flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed, including occasional overnight stays.
•Enforce safety standards and maintain security/accountability of company-issued and procured assets by recording use, wear, and conditions.

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma or equivalent; typically 5+ years of HVAC experience, with technical school/formal training preferred.
•Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
•Working proficiency with hand-held computer devices (e.g., smartphone, iPad).
•Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major/frequent traffic violations (including DUI, hit & run, license suspension, reckless/careless driving).
•EPA Certification required.
