Job Summary

Serve key accounts as a trusted technical advisor, balancing face-to-face customer engagement with hands-on technical work and customer feedback. Influence customers’ technical direction by understanding requirements, recommending software and hardware architectures, and guiding test system development. Partner closely with account managers to execute account technical strategy across pre- and post-sales activities, build technical relationships, and generate technical demand for NI products and support.

•Build key technical relationships at top accounts by demonstrating technical credibility and increasing customer confidence in NI.
•Understand and assist in creation of customer technical requirements and provide recommendations on software and hardware architectures, including guidance on test system development.
•Collaborate with NI Account Managers to lead and execute account technical strategy as part of an account team, supporting account strategy and opportunity pipeline.
•Coordinate with internal stakeholders to execute account technical initiatives and provide feedback to increase account success.
•Leverage industry and application-area knowledge to identify and influence customers’ future technical needs, generating technical demand for NI products, services, and support.

Travel: Medium travel

Salary: USD 133,000 - 248,000 annually

Key Requirements

•BS degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics).
•5 years of Test and Measurement industry experience.
•3 years of software programming experience.
•Willing and able to travel regionally and to Austin, TX up to 25% of the time.
•Only U.S. Persons (U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, or protected individuals as defined by 22 CFR §120) may be considered.
