Job Summary

Build and lead the design and development of complex, high-performance fullstack features for Okta’s Access Frameworks team. You’ll develop React/TypeScript frontend capabilities and architect robust server-side logic and data models using Java, Spring Boot, and MySQL. Partner with product and UX teams to translate requirements into reliable identity services, write clean well-tested code, optimize for speed and scalability, and continuously reduce technical debt.

•Lead the design and development of complex, high-performance features using React and TypeScript.
•Architect and optimize server-side logic and data models with Java, Spring Boot, and MySQL for reliable core identity services.
•Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, UX researchers, and backend engineers to deliver robust fullstack solutions.
•Write clean, modular, well-tested, and maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
•Optimize for speed, scalability, and responsiveness; identify technical debt and performance bottlenecks.

•10+ years of fullstack development experience building complex web applications.
•Deep expertise in React, including hooks, component lifecycle, and state management.
•Extensive experience building and scaling enterprise backend applications with Java and Spring Boot, including API security and database performance tuning.
•Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
•Hands-on experience with MySQL, RESTful API integration, testing (e.g., Jest/React Testing Library/Playwright), and Git.
