Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain and repair HVAC support equipment on facilities systems (air handlers, chilled water, condenser pumps, cooling towers, valves, filters, boilers, etc.).
  • •Complete preventative maintenance schedules for facility and launch-associated HVAC systems.
  • •Collaborate with engineering and managers to keep systems operating at peak condition.
  • •Follow regulations and SpaceX procedures, including quality and safety standards (OSHA, EPA, NIOSH, NFPA, ASME, NEC).

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
  • •EPA 608 Universal certificate.
  • •1+ years of professional experience working with HVAC, pneumatic, mechanical, or electrical systems.
  • •Ability to pass an Air Force background check for Cape Canaveral.
  • •Ability to work the listed shifts and perform physically demanding tasks (lifting 50 lbs., working on ladders/lifts, cramped positions) while following safety requirements.
