Key Responsibilities

  • •Progress each project monthly to ensure project controls monitoring aligns with the monthly reporting cycle and data accuracy/consistency.
  • •Manage project cost control, including insight on budget, forecasting, whip in progress, and actuals.
  • •Report planned value and earned value milestone data, % complete, and provide project commentaries.
  • •Attend project status meetings, report on major material status, and update forecasts based on progress discussions.
  • •Track change orders, maintain records of scope changes and variances, and produce monthly reports for management; interface with client and consultants and implement reporting best practices.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field.
  • •Minimum 5-7 years of applicable experience in construction project controls cost.
  • •Advanced skills with spreadsheets, report writing, and presentations.
  • •Experience using industry-accepted applications for cost, planning, and progress measurement.
  • •Expertise using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project, plus proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
