Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

•Install building automation systems, including temperature control systems such as conduit, enclosures, wiring, and end devices.
•Use control drawings, plans, and specifications to complete on-site installation; coordinate materials and work with other trades as needed.
•Maintain assigned stock of inventory and company equipment, including recording use, wear, and conditions.
•Serve as direct customer contact and service products/equipment on assigned projects by identifying, diagnosing, and repairing equipment/systems at customer locations.
•Complete required paperwork for each job and keep safety standards at the highest level, including travel with occasional overnight stays.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent; typically 2-5 years of HVAC/Controls experience (technical school/formal training preferred).
•Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency with handheld devices (smartphone, iPad).
•Knowledge of low-voltage electricity, electronics (board-level troubleshooting), direct digital controls, and building control techniques.
•Preferred: current or future participation in an ABC electrical apprenticeship program.
•Must have a valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major/frequent traffic violations (including examples listed).
