Key Responsibilities

  • •Receive product from press, stack, place on pallets, and retrieve bundled product for palletizing.
  • •Operate and troubleshoot the Hugo Beck Bundling System, including set-up, basics/troubleshooting, roll alignment, and bundle webbing; print pallet labels using Pecas.
  • •Support quality by reviewing jobs for accuracy, ensuring finished product is error-free, and notifying operators immediately of problems.
  • •Perform downtime and make-ready tasks including webbing/blow-outs, cleaning the press area, changing doctor blades/rollers/stacker, and handling inks/solvent containers.
  • •Follow OHSE policies and hazardous materials/waste handling procedures; maintain safe, clean work areas and operate forklift equipment for material handling when applicable.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma (or GED) with one to three years of related production experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • •Very good mechanical and physical ability.
  • •Lift truck operators must have and maintain safety training for operation of all company equipment.
  • •Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks including standing, stooping, bending, reaching, climbing, kneeling, and crouching.
  • •Ability to rotate shifts and be available to work more than 8 hours per day and/or 40 hours per week when necessary.
