Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and own resilience, health, and availability of the entire global corporate network domain by responding to alerts and executing reliability projects.
  • •Reduce systemic toil and technical debt across multiple teams by improving processes, automating network operations, and building self-service operational tooling.
  • •Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to influence network operations work and communicate relevant information to project teams.
  • •Lead resolution of complex network operations issues and alerts with a systems perspective to prevent future outages.
  • •Foster learning by defining team success, maintaining an open environment, and mentoring team members through P4 level to build operational engineering best practices.

Key Requirements

  • •Typically requires 8+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree (or 6+ with a Master’s, or 3+ with a PhD, or equivalent).
  • •Deep expertise in AWS Networking and Palo Alto Networks solutions.
  • •Operational experience in distributed systems and networking fundamentals, including incident response, monitoring, and protocols such as WiFi, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPN, ACLs, routing, and firewall policies.
  • •Proficiency with cloud platforms, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Ansible), observability tools (Prometheus/Grafana), programming (Python/Go), and SLOs/SLIs.
  • •Proven ability to manage operational availability, deliver multi-quarter objectives, and execute projects within budgets and strategic targets.
